The main purpose of the interview is to see whether your child is a ‘good fit’ for the school, both in the academic sense but also in the social sense. Will they be able to cope with the level of academic rigour at the school and are they likely to blossom both personally and socially under the school’s care? Questions will of course vary by age and in phrasing, but here are some of the key ones your child might get asked. Bear in mind that not all schools interview potential students.
